Though WNSO constitution was adopted on 5th Dec 2002 and registration as charity begins in the UK, WNSO – Nepal has been registered as an NGO on 26th of June 2006 at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu (Reg. No. 837/062/63) to give WNSO a real presence on the Nepali ground and to move forward towards achieving its objectives. WNSO – Nepal is also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (No. 19892) and registered with PAN (No. 302293898).
The organization, through discussion with other Nepalese students abroad, established links with like-minded individuals to provide an extension of the services in other countries. WNSO now has representation in 23 countries worldwide and is to date still growing.
